Please check the weight limit before ordering. This bed is made for dogs up to 8 kg — a Chihuahua, a Yorkshire Terrier, a Maltese, a Toy Poodle. If your dog is heavier, it is the wrong bed, and we would rather tell you here than take your money. Email us their breed and weight if you are unsure.

What it is like to live with

The useful part is what happens when you arrive. Instead of lifting a dog out of a car seat and then finding somewhere for them in a strange room, you unclip the belt, pick the whole thing up by the handles, and put it down in the corner. Your dog has not left their bed at any point.

At home it simply becomes the bed they sleep in, which means that on the next trip the car seat already smells like home. For small dogs who are unsettled by travel, that continuity can make the journeys easier over time.

Who it is for

For owners of small dogs, up to 8 kg, who take them along regularly — on visits, weekends away, trips to the vet — and want one thing that does the job of three. It suits people who are short on space in the car and in the house.

It is not for dogs over 8 kg, who will not fit comfortably, and it is not for owners looking for certified crash protection. See the note below.

An honest note about safety

This is a travel bed and carrier, not a certified safety restraint. It keeps your dog contained and comfortable on a journey. It has not been crash tested, and we make no claim that it protects your dog in a collision. Always clip the tethers to a harness, never to a collar. If independent crash protection is what you need, buy a certified restraint from a brand that has paid for that testing.

Care instructions

• The bed arrives compressed for shipping. Give it an hour or so out of the packaging to regain its shape.
• Wipe the outer with a damp cloth and mild soap.
• For a deeper clean, wash gently in cold water and air dry fully.
• Avoid the tumble dryer and do not bleach.
• Check the tether clips and the shoulder strap every few weeks.

Frequently asked questions

Will the colour look exactly like the photographs?
There may be a slight difference. Screens and lighting vary, and fabric batches are never perfectly identical. What arrives will be close to what you see here, but not always an exact match.

My dog is 10 kg. Will it work?
No. The limit is 8 kg. A heavier dog will be cramped and will sit above the sides. Our quilted booster suits dogs up to 9 kg; above that, look at our back seat extender.

How does it stay in place in the car?
The seat belt goes through the loops on the sides, and the non-slip base stops it sliding. The two tethers inside clip to your dog’s harness.

Can I carry it with my dog inside?
Yes, for short distances — from the car to the door, or across a car park. Use the handles or the shoulder strap, and keep your dog clipped in.

Can I use it on the front seat?
It fits, but we recommend the rear seat, for the same reason you would put a child seat there. Airbags are designed for adult humans.
